Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that can affect the brain and spinal cord, causing a wide range of potential symptoms, including problems with vision, arm or leg movement, sensation or balance.

MS is unpredictable, it’s a lifelong condition that can sometimes cause serious and devastating disability, although it can occasionally be mild.

At Beaumont Healthcare we have the experience to provide specialist nurse led patient centred care for people with neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, meeting their specific needs in the home environment. We aim to help patients to retain maximum independence, ensuring that all clinical and social aspects of their care and support are provided for. All packages of care are fully tailored to the client unique needs which may inevitably change over time, as their condition progresses.

We appreciate that is not always easy to welcome new faces into your own home. We therefore have a robust recruitment process in place to provide each of our clients the right match of care assistant or nurse – both from a skills and personality perspective. We offer you both the voice and the choice from the onset. Clients and families are offered to be as fully involved in the selection process as they wish in order to establish a consistent, reliable and dedicated team.
